On the fourth day, God created the lights in the sky
Then God commanded, 'Let lights appear in the sky to separate day from night and to show the time when days, years and religious festivals begin; they will shine in the sky to give light to the earth', and it was done. So God made two larger lights, the sun to rule over the day and the moon to rule over the night; he also made the stars. He placed the lights on the earth to shine on the earth, to rule over the day and night and to separate light from darkness. And God was pleased with what he saw. Evening passed and morning came; that was the fourth day.
Genesis 1: 14-19
From the above passage, it is certain that every light you will ever see on the sky was created from God’s powerful command. This command also states that:
These two lights will always separate day from night in obedience to God’s command.

God’s action on the fourth day also gave the basis for calendar; as days, years and religious festivals can now be manipulated and calculated.
On the fifth day, God created every kind of living beings, sea monsters and creatures found in water. He also made the air to be filled with every kind of birds on the fifth day
Then God commanded: Let the water be filled with many kinds of living beings, and let the air be filled with birds. So God created the great sea monsters, all kinds of creatures that live in the water, and all kinds of birds. And God was pleased with what he saw. He blessed them all and told the creatures that live in the water to reproduce and to fill the sea, and he told the birds to increase in number. Evening passed and morning came; that was the fifth day.
Genesis 1: 20-23
Notice the power of God’s command once again on the fifth day. The waters obeyed by bringing forth every kind of living beings, sea monsters and creatures. The air obeyed by bringing forth all kinds of birds.
God did something that will neither make the waters lack living creatures nor the air lack birds and that’s his blessings upon them.
God spoke to these creatures by blessing them with a constant increase through reproduction.

Note: Before we look into the events of the sixth day, let’s understand that the bible has two versions of man’s creation. You can read the second version of man’s creation from the soil in Genesis 2:7
On the six day, God made the earth produce every form of animal life. God also created human beings, male and female on the six day
Then God Commanded, 'Let the earth produce all kinds of animal life: domestic and wild, large and small' and it was done. So God made them all and he was pleased with all he saw. Then God said, 'And now WE will make human beings; they will be like US and resemble US. They will have power over the fish, the birds and all animals, domestic and wild, large and small. So God created human beings making them to be like himself. He created them male and female, blessed them and said, 'Have many children, so that your descendants will live all over the earth and bring it under their control. I am putting you in charge of the fish, the birds and all the wild animals. I have provided all kinds of grain and all kind of fruits for you to eat; but for all the wild animals, I have provided grass and leafy plants for food' and it was done. God looked at everything he had made and he was very pleased. Evening passed and morning came; that was the sixth day.
Genesis 1: 24-31
Notice that after God had made the earth produce every kind of animals, the bible recorded that God was pleased with all he saw. In fact; on each day of creation, he was always pleased with what he saw.
Interestingly, after God made human beings, male and female, the bible recorded that God was 'very' pleased with what he saw.
Just before God made human beings, he didn’t give any command unlike the previous days of creation, instead he said:
And now, WE will make human beings; they will be like US and resemble US.
From the above, we can conclude that God was not alone all through this time of creation. He had some other persons with him; and these persons share his nature since God said 'they will be like us and resemble us'.

Notice that when God created other living creatures, He made references to that which had been created. This include the land, water and air respectively.
Concerning the creation of humans, God was clearly unique in the sense that He spoke directly to Himself.
God made human beings the masters of all his creation including the earth. Also, He blessed all his creatures including human being; and made provision for all they will ever need to survive on earth.
You may also have noticed that God provided grass and leafy plants for the wild animals.
With regards to the above paragraph, one important question is: 'Does a lion or tiger or leopard eat grass at this very moment?'
At the moment, the answer to the above question is 'NO'.
The truth is; at the time of creation, all wild animals ate leafy plants. It is therefore right and logical to say that something must have brought about this change in diet (leafy plants to flesh) by the wild animals. The cause of this change is on those whom had been given the responsibility to be master of all God’s creature and that's human beings (in the person of Adam and Eve).
The very moment Adam and Eve sinned against God by disobeying him in the Garden of Eden, chaos and disorderliness were introduced into the earth.

It is important to state that the consequences of the disobedience of Adam and Eve goes beyond the eating habit and diet of the wild animals (that is, from grass to flesh).
Remember that when God made his creation, there was neither suffering nor pain.
Suffering and the pains of child birth are also some of the other consequences of Adam and Eve’s disobedience.

Notable points in CRS
The parable of the prodigal son as narrated by Jesus himself is one that shows God's incomprehensible mercy and love. This parable is present in the gospel of Luke 15: 11-32.
Jesus began by saying:
There was once a man who had two sons. The younger one said to him, 'Father, give me my share of the property now'. So the man divided his properties between his two sons.
Luke 15: 11-12
From the above passage, it is quite clear that the younger brother had lost interest in the family's affairs. He must have pondered in his heart the sweetness of complete independence on a life of financial abundance.
To actualize his thoughts, he had the effrontery to go to his father to request for his inheritance even though his father is fully alive and active.

Adam and Eve disobeyed God while in the Garden of Eden. Below are the consequences of Adam and Eve's disobedience:
All God's creature became guilty of original sin.
Human perfection was lost.
God's judgement was pronounced on the snake, woman and man.
Chaos and disorderliness came upon earth.
Suffering, pain and death was introduced into the world.
The first prophesy was made.
Clothing was made.
Paradise was temporarily lost.
Their disobedience brought about the relevation of Jesus Christ.

Wise men from the east came to visit the infant king. Upon their arrival, they saw the child with his mother Mary. They knelt down and worshiped the infant (Jesus).
Notice that the bible recorded that the wise men knelt down and worshipped the infant (Jesus), according to Matthew 2:11.
Only God can be worshiped. Jesus is always God, even as a baby.
It is important to state that Jesus remained God at every point in his physical existence, even when he was in the womb of the virgin; throughout his life on earth, death on the cross and eventual resurrection.
The wise men from the east opened their treasures and presented the infant Jesus with three significant gifts. These are gold, frankincense and myrrh.
Gold represents a symbol of Jesus' kingship. Jesus is the King of kings, even at birth and throughout eternity.
Frankincense represents a symbol of Jesus' divinity and a sign of worship. Only God can be worshipped; and as such, Jesus is fully God.
Myrrh represents a symbol of Jesus' death. Jesus is truly man, and this is why he was able to suffer and die on the cross.
God created human beings for the following reasons:
To know Him
To love Him
To serve Him
To be happy with Him forever
Our first parent, Adam and Eve enjoyed a life of complete happiness before they committed sin. They never knew what pain nor sorrow was until they disobeyed God. In short, both were perfect beings until they committed the sin of disobedience against God.
Disobedience may simple be defined as the failure to obey rules, command or someone in authority.
Adam and Eve were the first human beings to disobey God.
