Core Routers:

A core router is always present within a Local Area Network (LAN). It is crucial towards the proper routing and distribution of packets within the LAN. In fact, it sits as the center of the LAN and is considered as its backbone. This is true because it ensures that all other routers within the LAN efficiently and rapidly receives traffic which it had processed at an amazing speed.

The primary function of a core router is to convey and distribute heavy traffic (or data) without manipulating such data in most instances. In this regard, all traffic in the LAN usually goes through it. Therefore, the core router may also be referred to as a distribution router. Meanwhile, understand that core routers do not move or receive traffic from end devices like personal computers, phones, VoIP devices and so on.

Recall that LANs are usually broken down into smaller networks called subnets or virtual LANs (VLANs). It is the responsibility of the core router to connect and distribute traffic through the subnets in an efficient manner. Simply put, the speed of the entire LAN will depend on the core routers' hardware, alongside their cabling and configurations.

The core routers are usually very powerful and extremely fast in their functions. Without their outstanding functionalities, a large LAN will likely crumble. For this reason, core routers are often the most expensive of all routers.

With regards to the media (or cabling) utilized, a core router may use the fiber optic cable, although high speed copper cabling can also be used.

Regardless the size of the LAN, a core router is an important piece of routing device that can significantly improve the flow of traffic within the LAN. Importantly, understand that core routers are typically deployed in large and massive data driven networks requiring a excellent throughput. Python is one of the most popular programming languages, and will still remain relevant for a long time.

Python can be used for almost every kind of project including web application, machine learning, mobile and desktop applications, networking servers, APIs, scrapers, application’s backend and so on.

Computer hardware is the collection of physical parts of a computer system.

Physical parts of a computer are those parts that you can see and touch. It may also be referred to as the 'equipment of the computer'.

When the computer case is opened (with a screwdriver), one would see the different hardware components inside of it. It's important to state that some other hardware components are present outside the computer case; and these are termed peripherals.
