  2. Joining a queue when the need arises.

  3. Having an organized protest by pressure groups.

  4. Observing decorum in classes, worship communities and other appropriate places.

  5. Handing over criminals to competent authorities. For instance, the police.

  6. Appropriate performance of our duties and responsibilities.
Please read a detailed explanation on the instances of orderliness here.

For orderliness to be achieved in a society, the following virtues must be exhibited:

Orderliness generally has both community and personal benefits. This involves improving oneself and the society through a systematic organization and proper planning of our actions and activities in a reasonable manner of approach.

Let us consider the concept of orderliness through the instance of an academic institution (secondary school). For a school to be considered as ordered, the students and staff are expected to fulfill their respective responsibilities. These will include the followings:

  • Students are expected wear the appropriate uniform to school. Sport wears should be generally worn by students on their appropriate day(s). Depending on the school, students may wear similar colour of socks. In summary, all students must appear neat and smart through proper dressing.

  • Students are expected to be in school before a stipulated time, let's say, 8:00 AM. Also, the school's closing hours should be fixed at a specific time of the day.
Please read on factors that promote cooperation here.

  • The sitting arrangements of students in their classrooms are expected to be organized and specific for that term. Also, the classroom should not be overcrowded; rather, it must be condusive enough to promote learning.

  • Subject timetable, seister, breaktime, sports time, academic calendar, examination time table, vacation period and other school activities must be properly defined.

  • If the school has a school bus, it should be of standard quality, and may reflect the colours, badge and other features of the school.

  • The teachers should abide by the approved dress code. This reflects the standard of the school.

  • The teachers are expected to follow their scheme of work in a timely and judicious manner. In this regard, test and examinations should be well conducted at the appropriate time. To achieve this, the school must adhere strictly to its academic calendar.

  • The school's security personnel should be properly equipped to perform their duties. Similarly, the cleaners and other non-teaching staff should properly carry out their duties.

The above instances, if properly adhered to, will result into an ordered school environment through the students and staff respectively. Meanwhile, understand that orderliness is visible for all to see. For this reason, the presence of orderliness in any institution generates attraction to such institution.

Similarly, the act of orderliness in various sectors like the transportation sector, banking sector, health sector, legal sector, agricultural sector and educational sector of the society will result into a cascading positive effect on such society.
