Having a healthy self-esteem is a vital aspect of our lives. In fact, this could go a long towards determining the level of our accomplishments in life.
Too little of self-esteem will keep one down, unwilling, depressed, discouraged and defeated. Conversely, an excessive self-esteem may result into an unnecessary pride, down-looking on others, and off-putting to others.
Ideally, there should be a balance on our self esteem. This is where a healthy self-esteem comes into place.

Self-esteem is defined as a personal reflection of one’s overall self-worth.
It is the value we have placed on ourselves. For this reason, our self-esteem cannot be hidden.
Self-esteem reflects a person’s health, experiences, mentality and self-evaluation. For this reason, people act or behave in a variety of ways. Their various behaviors are a function of their self-esteem.
